FROM THE FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

I’m delighted to have been appointed as the new Director of the Fuel Festival of NZ Theatre.

I’m passionate about FUEL Festival, both for the quality of work it brings to and generates in the city, and also for its unique positioning in featuring only New Zealand originated works.

 It is crucial to a city’s cultural health to host events like FUEL. I am absolutely certain that the event has a sustainable long-term position in the city’s event calendar. I’m more than just a little excited about the prospect of developing the 2012 programme and working on new opportunities to strengthen the Fuel brand.

I look forward to being able to update you on the 2012 programme.
